Neurologic emergencies are highly complex scenarios that require rapid decision-making, effective interprofessional collaboration, and advanced communication skills. However, traditional neurology training is often fragmented, separating clinical aspects from ethical and communication domains. Simulation-based education emerges as a key tool to integrate these competencies in a safe environment. An innovative model combines neurologic emergency scenarios with training in difficult conversations to promote ethical reasoning, role clarity, and emotional awareness. This approach is particularly relevant in Ecuador, where existing simulation centers could strengthen graduate training in neurology.
