La neurología moderna enfrenta el gran desafío de comprender la plasticidad y vulnerabilidad del sistema nervioso (SN) en condiciones extremas, por ejemplo, el entorno espacial. Se deben entonces discutir las interrelaciones entre astrobiología, astroquímica, neurociencia y medicina espacial.

To the Editor:
Modern neurology faces the major challenge of understanding the plasticity and vulnerability of the nervous system (NS) under extreme conditions, such as the space environment. Therefore, the interrelationships between astrobiology, astrochemistry, neuroscience, and space medicine must be discussed.
